That perfect shirt

The screen-printing clutch : a perfect shirt.

The first step in screen printing shirts is finding the right shirt. We searched high and low for the perfect company to work with. The optimal combination is USA-made, triblend, and an agreeable price point. A buddy from a larger clothing company put us in contact with a small manufacturing company in San Francisco and so far it’s been a great fit. (Pun intended).

Our shirts are custom cut and sewn exclusively for Fawn + Foal, which results in a more tailored fit. They’re not the industry-standard tiny—whereas I wear an extra-large in American Apparel, I wear a medium in Fawn + Foal shirts. Ours run pretty true to size, and perhaps even a tad big. Our women’s shirts are tailored to fit a woman’s silhouette with a flattering scoop neck design, good length, and slimming fit.

Grey is our main color of choice because it’s easy, approachable, and not over thought. It goes with any other color. It can be paired with black to be stark or yellow to neutralize. It reminds us of the old-school, well-loved track t-shirts from high school.

And for the youngest among us, we offer baby one-pieces that come in sizes 3-6 months, 6-12 months, and 12-18 months. The cute cut offers a longer body to accommodate baby’s belly and diaper: no boxy, unflattering cuts at Fawn + Foal.
